If you’re looking for information about visiting Marshalls Falls in Monroe County, you’re in the right place!

Marshalls Falls is a 20-foot tall waterfall situated within a 17-acre nature park near East Stroudsburg.

An ADA-accessible boardwalk leads from a paved parking area to an observation area at the base of the falls.

From this downstream observation area, you can see the waterfall bracketed on either side by towering rock ledges.

Directions and Hours
Marshalls Falls Park is located at 274 Marshalls Creek Rd, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302.
The park is open from dawn until dusk, and there is a paved parking area at the entrance to the park.

The park’s website states that there is a $10 entrance fee to the park for non-Monroe County residents, but on my visit in April 2025 there was no one there to collect a fee, nor did I see any honor system box to deposit an admission fee into.

Visiting Marshalls Falls
From the parking area, simply follow the raised boardwalk a few hundred feet to the base of the falls.

Once you reach Marshalls Creek, a bridge that spans the creek provides a partial downstream view of the falls.

As I mentioned previously, Marshalls Falls stands roughly 20 feet tall, with the rock formations on either side standing a good 10-15 feet taller.

If you want an unobstructed view of the falls, you’ll have to scramble up the hill on the left side of the falls (when facing upstream) and through a narrow passageway through the rocks.

In my opinion, this view from above is the best view of the Marshalls Falls, but it is certainly not ADA accessible, so keep that in mind.

According to the park’s website, future improvements to the park will include more trails along the picturesque Marshalls Creek, below the falls.

Overall this is a a great little roadside natural attraction, and a waterfall that just about anyone can enjoy from the lower observation area.

If you are able to, I’d recommend making the short scramble to the upper observation area as well, for the unobstructed view of Marshalls Falls.
