Mine Hole Run Falls is an easy-to-reach roadside waterfall in the Tioga State Forest.
Checking in at around 6 feet tall, it is by no means one of the main attractions in Tioga County.
But is a marvelous little spot, and since it requires very little effort to see it, Mine Hole Run Falls makes a great pit stop on your way to other adventures in the area.
How to Find Mine Hole Run Falls in Tioga County
Mine Hole Run Falls is located approximately 2.5 miles north of Cedar Run, in Tioga County.
Located near the intersection of Mine Hole Road and Leetonia Road, Mine Hole Run Falls can be found at GPS coordinates 41.55581, -77.45833.
Find a safe spot to pull off of Mine Hole Road near those coordinates and walk down to the stream.
The large pool at its base is the reason why this spot pops up on so many swimming hole-related websites.
There are plenty of photogenic spots above the main falls as well.
Nothing I’d classify as a waterfall, but certainly some remarkable little rapids.
The area around Mine Hole Run Falls stays green most of the year, as it features a great deal of moss and hemlocks

Colton Point State Park features outstanding views of the PA Grand Canyon.
And the Turkey Path at Colton Point State Park also features a large waterfall along the Rexford Branch of Fourmile Run.
