History of Knapp’s Covered Bridge
Knapp’s Covered Bridge was built in 1853, and is the only remaining covered bridge in Bradford County.
The bridge is an example of Burr Arch truss construction.
The bridge is 95 feet long, still open to vehicular traffic, and was extensively renovated in 2000.
Knapp’s Covered Bridge, also known as Luthers Mills Bridge or Brown’s Creek Bridge, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
