The Bellefonte Cruise has been a popular Father’s Day weekend event in historic Bellefonte since 1988.
2023 marks the 34th year for the event, which takes place June 16-17 on the streets of downtown Bellefonte, the Centre County seat.
On Friday night, an “open cruise” takes place from 6-7 pm, where you’ll find plenty of classic cars cruising the streets of Bellefonte.
On Saturday, a professionally-judged car show takes place on the main streets downtown.
The car show features more than 30 classes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
Car show winners are announced at 5 pm, and all cars in the show must remain parked until then.
In addition the typical shiny muscle cars, “rat rods” have grown in popularity at the car show the past few years.
Motorcycles are also typically well-represented, with several judged classes on display on North Allegheny Street.
On Friday night this year, the Fabulous Flashbacks will play the Sock Hop on the Diamond from 7:30-10:30 pm; on Saturday afternoon bands and DJs entertain the crowd from two different stages throughout the day.
