Exploring Benjamin Hollow Falls
An old railroad grade up the right hand side of Benjamin Hollow makes for a fairly straightforward hike.
The bottom section of Benjamin Hollow Falls, visible from the rail grade up the right side, is safely in the 15-20 foot tall range.
From the streambed, you can see that there is another section of the falls that winds around to the right.
The final 6-8 foot section up top is visible by continuing up the old rail grade on the right hand side of the stream.
Standing on top of Benjamin Hollow Falls and facing Pine Creek makes for a fine view as well!
If you’re looking to continue your waterfall explorations after visiting Benjamin Hollow Falls, proceed up the rail trail another mile to Pine Island Run Falls.
Otherwise, simply follow the Pine Creek Rail Trail back to Blackwell.
