The 10 overlooks mentioned here are in Centre, Mifflin, Union, and Snyder counties, located along state forest (non-paved) roads.
Keep in mind these are “No Winter Maintenance” roads, so the best times to visit any of these overlooks (without a snowmobile) is spring through fall.

9. Jones Mountain Road Vista
Jones Mountain Road Vista offers exceptonal views to the west from a pull-off along its namesake road.

10. Black Gap Vista
Black Gap Vista is an east-facing overlook located along Engle Road, near McCalls Dam State Park.
