If you’re looking for information about visiting Bill’s Old Bike Barn in Bloomsburg, you’re in the right place!
Describing Bill’s Old Bike Barn merely as a “motorcycle museum” doesn’t do it justice – it’s actually a sprawling 55,000 square foot treasure trove of Americana.
The brainchild of custom bike builder Bill Morris, the museum opened in 1998 as one room, and has grown outward and upward since then, becoming the colossal showcase of vintage items you see today.
According to a museum brochure I picked up on my visit, Bill’s vision when creating the museum was to “share rare items that may never have been seen before, as well as everyday items no longer in use and forgotten over time.”
After spending several hours soaking up the essence of his collection, I can safely say Bill has done all that and then some!

What You’ll See at Bill’s Old Bike Barn
At first glance, Bill’s Old Bike Barn appears to be a large, modern prefabricated steel building.
Step inside though, and you find yourself surrounded by the wooden beams and boards from an 1880’s barn, a building that was purchased, dismantled, and rebuilt inside the museum.
The museum can best be described as having 4 sections: the Main Room, the Military Room, Billville USA, and the Outside/Lean-to.
The Main Room
The Main Room is the area of Bill’s Old Bike Barn that most-closely resembles a “motorcycle museum.”
That’s not to say you won’t see motorcycles throughout the rest of the museum, because you will.
But from floor to ceiling in the Main Room , you’ll find rare and beautiful motorcycles, motorcycle dealership signage, and miscellaneous motorcycle memorabilia.
You’ll also find circus memorabilia, vintage hunting and fishing equipment, and a variety of other eclectic Americana.
The Military Room
The military room contains, not surprisingly, an abundance of military-related artifacts and memorabilia.
From weapons to uniforms to military-themed amusement park rides, you’ll again find yourself enveloped in floor-to-ceiling exhibits.
The balcony that surrounds the room provides a great vantage point to take it all in.
The Military Room is also where you’ll find my personal favorite bike in the entire museum, this gorgeous Moto Guzzi, an Italian brand of motorcycles established in 1921.
Billville, USA
Billville, USA makes up the largest portion of the museum, and contains the most eclectic variety of items in the museum.
Built to resemble what could be Main Street in any small town, Billville consists of dozens of building facades where each building houses a collection related to its appearance.
There a tobacco shop.
A dentist’s office.
A police station.
A beer store.
A toy store.
And a radio repair shop, just to name a few.
Billville even has its own covered bridge!
You’ll also find a room full of Elvis memorabilia.
A Kitty Room containing thousands of cat figurines.
And a large Disney-themed display.
Outside Lean-to and Grounds
Some of the largest items in Bill’s collection can be found outside the building.
Some can be found under this lean-to on the side of the museum.
Others are scattered around the front lawn of the museum.
Final Thoughts
Visiting Bill’s Old Bike Barn in Bloomsburg, PA, offers an extraordinary journey through a vast collection of Americana, far beyond the scope of just motorcycles.
With over 55,000 square feet of space, the museum showcases an eclectic mix of vintage artifacts, ranging from classic cars and motorcycles to rare antiques and memorabilia.
It’s a unique destination that provides a nostalgic glimpse into American culture and history, appealing to motorcycle enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to visit – I spent the better part of three hours there and could easily have spent three more!
