East Branch Falls is a wonderful 25-foot tall waterfall on the East Branch of Mill Creek in the Loyalsock State Forest.

Located approximately 4 miles west of Hillsgrove in Sullivan County, East Branch Falls is what I would call an almost-roadside waterfall, located just 50 yards or so off of Walker Road, a State Forest road.

  1. Just to be sure, one of these falls is not Middle Creek Falls correct? Saw that a few weeks ago, but continued up to Slab Run Vista and I remember Camels Rd. and I think I past Walker Rd. on my way to the Vista.

    • Depending on the route you took you may have indeed seen Middle Branch Falls. East Branch Falls isn’t visible from the road as the creek bends away from the road at that point. But yes Middle Branch (the upper half) you can indeed see from Camels Road.

    • Thanks for the reply, I made a mistake typing, I meant I was at Mill Creek Falls on Mill Creek
road, not Middle Branch Falls but planning on going to East and Middle Branch Falls this weekend weather permitting. Did not explore anything on Camel’s Road or Walker rd.
