From roadside attractions to secluded nooks in the forest, they lie scattered across State Forests, State Parks, and State Game Lands.
So many waterfalls exist in Sullivan County that it can be overwhelming when trying to decide which ones to visit first.
So what I’ve done here is give you an alphabetical list of my 25 favorite waterfalls in Sullivan County, complete with links to maps, detailed directions, and additional photos of each waterfall.

Alpine Falls is located along the Loyalsock Trail in the Loyalsock State Forest, near Worlds End State Park.
Angel Falls is the tallest waterfall in Sullivan County, and is located in the Loyalsock State Forest, just off the Loyalsock Trail.
Big Falls is located on State Game Lands 13 and is one of the more challenging waterfalls to get to in Sullivan County.

Dry Run Falls
Dry Run Falls may be the most popular roadside waterfall in Sullivan County.
Dutchman Falls is located near the eastern terminus of the Loyalsock Trail, just off Route 220.
Dutters Run Falls
Dutters Run Falls is a series of 6 waterfalls located along Dutters Run in the Loyalsock State Forest, not far from previously mentioned Dry Run Falls.
East Branch Falls
East Branch Falls is located in the Loyalsock State Forest in western Sullivan County, near Hillsgrove.
Emerald Falls is a picturesque 15 foot-tall waterfall on Swamp Run, north of Hillsgrove.
Gipson Falls is located just downstream from Angel Falls on Falls Run in the Loyalsock State Forest.
High Rock Falls
High Rock Falls is located at Worlds End State Park, along the High Rock Trail in Sullivan County.
Ketchum Run Falls
Ketchum Run Falls is located along the Ketchum Run Trail in the Loyalsock State Forest.
Lee’s Falls is located along the Loyalsock Trail in the Ketchum Run Gorge.
Lewis Falls is located on State Game Lands 13, along Heberly Run.
Little Swamp Run Falls
Little Swamp Run Falls is an 8 foot-tall waterfall located a quarter mile upstream from Emerald Falls.
Middle Branch Falls
Middle Branch Falls is located in the Mill Creek watershed in western Sullivan County.
Mineral Spring Falls
Mineral Spring Falls is located near Worlds End State Park in the Loyalsock State Forest.
Pigeon Run Falls
Pigeon Run Falls is located along Pigeon Run on State Game Lands 13.
Quinn Run Falls
Quinn Run Falls is located off-trail on State Game Lands 13 in Sullivan County.
Rode Falls is located along the Loyalsock Trail in the Loyalsock State Forest, downstream from Lee’s Falls and Ketchum Run Falls.
Rusty Run Falls
Rusty Run Falls is reached via a short hike from Shanerburg Road in the Loyalsock State Forest.
Shanty Run Falls
Shanty Run Falls is located in a remote glen on State Game Lands 13.
Sullivan Falls is an almost-roadside waterfall on the western edge of State Game Lands 13.
Tamarack Falls is located near Sones Pond in the Loyalsock State Forest, a short hike from Loyalsock Road.
Twin Falls is a pair of waterfalls located midway between Lewis Falls and Big Falls on State Game Lands 13.
